Remember, the environment is your friend, not your enemy.

In the village community Bilbor, Hrarghita State many people get rich by cutting the foorest, even the village priest has his own gutter around the church.

The village has no mayor, vice mayor, or forester, everybody are in the town.

Even the police don’t arrest the Managers that sent their employs cut down the trees; they have their orders from the superiors in town and don’t prosecute anybody. Obviously everybody has a cut from the WOOD INDUSTRY; probably even they government officials sent to inspect the forests in Romania are paid to look away.

What this gruesome video about a reporter from a national Romanian television sent to inspect the forest after two days of forest inspection.

I know you can’t understand Romanian but the images paint a thousand words.

Someone’s greed will KILL us all.

I hope that the people who killed this trees will be thrown in prison. Who I’m kidding?, here in Romania even if you kill people and if you are an American with immunity being drunk while driving you get scot free and if you steal a chicken and you are a nobody get 10 years in prison.

My name is Allex Radu; I’m in my last year as a student of Maths & Informatics Faculty in Bucharest.

When I was young I’ve heard about The Green House Effect and the climate change and I’ve said to myself that I won’t live to see this change and at least my kids (I don’t have any ..yet) will have to deal with this.

When the Ceausescu regime has ended in Romania, everybody started to steal everything, from Ceausescu’s alleged money, irrigation pumps and even started cutting down trees. Their single concern was how to steal more to get rich.

The forests that remain uncut they gave it back to “the real owners”, at least on paper. The truth is that the mayors received bribes and gave the forests to influential people by falsifying documents.

And what you think the “influential people” did with “their forests”, they cut down some more and from 1990 to 2000, in just ten years, the climate changed dramatically, the earth started to flow, the rivers’ water started rising, barrages broke and the water flooded massive communities.

Why I’m writing in English and not in my native language you will ask, because Romanians doesn’t care about the climate change, many village people are that stupid that they even know what The Green House Effect is, they only care about drinking alcohol.

Even when the water came and took away their houses they didn’t help the army that came to help make barrages out of sand bags, they stood in the water and drunk.

They are lazy, many don’t know how to read and write, let alone using the internet.

So, that’s why I’m writing in English, maybe we all can do something to help saving this planet while we can.

I hope that through photos, videos and articles to show you that this planet worth to be saved and to make you change to a more EARTH FRIENDLY light bulb, a less polluting car and maybe I can convince you to use your bicycle on short distances.

P.S. I’m not a hippy; I just enjoy shooting pictures and putting them into perspective.
